Hello maheswari,

In order to fetch dba_users information please try connecting as sysdba

sql>connect /as sysdba.

If this does not give you results.

shutdown DB

sql> shutdown immediate;

Stop listner

I'd check your Oracle Alert log at this stage.

Have you been performing some project work?

What OS are you on?

Hello,

Can you please suggest me something, this is the error from Provision Manager

An error occurred while processing option SAP NetWeaver 7.0 Support Release 3 > Software Life-Cycle Options > System Copy > Oracle > Target System Installation > Central System > Based on AS ABAP > Central System( Last error reported by the step: TypeError: (new FileMgt()).getNode(cfgInitSidOra.toStringOS(), "true") has no properties (in script NW_ABAP_OneHost|ind|ind|ind|ind, line 103435: ???)). You can now:

  • Choose Retry
    to repeat the current step.
  • Choose Log Files
    to get more information about the error.
  • Stop the option and continue later.

Log files are written to C:\Program Files/sapinst_instdir/NW700/LM/COPY/ORA/SYSTEM/CENTRAL/AS-ABAP/.

I am doing a system copy from production to test. I did restored and recovered the database, now DB is opened. I ran control.sql script manually. Could it be this the cause of my error, cause I am at step "Oracle Backup/Restore database - control.sql"

Thank you for any suggestion

Hello Chris,

Please check whether DB is up and running.

if not try to connect through sql prompt and startup db.

Then try again.

If this does not work execute R3trans -d and check and paste the result.

Which version of kernel you have used for this installation.

Regards

Anand

Hi there!

Please follow the instructions provided in this wiki. Unlock & Reset SAP* Password in Oracle - Basis Corner - SCN Wiki

C:\Documents and Settings\devadm>sqlplus"/as sysdba"

2. View the SAP* table.

SQL> select UFLAG, BNAME, MANDT from SAPSR3.USR02 where BNAME='SAP*';

3. Unlock the SAP* password.

SQL> update SAPSR3.USR02 set UFLAG=0 where BNAME='SAP*' and MANDT=000;

4. Reset the SAP* password

Hi There!

The return code (BKI0024I: Return code is: 1) following IBM guide indicates that the backup service request completed successfully and all data was backed up but there were warnings or errors reported.

The ORA-01142 is pretty clear so you don't need to worry.

Error: ORA-01142: cannot end online backup - none of the files are in backup

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cause: None of the files were found to be in the online backup when attempting to end the online backup.

Action: None. Online backup does not need to be ended for this tablespace.

Anyway I would recomed you to execute your backup through RMAN or even better through DB13.

Hello,

The problem was in the database restore. Some datafiles were corrupted.

After our database administrator remake database restore the application is working fine.

Thank you very much.
